Our Wildlife Tours are to Northern Spain. Are modest in ambition but strong on delivery. We stay at nice hotels and explore the diversity of various areas in and around the range of mountains known as the ‘Picos de Europa’.

Format is the same for each tour. We start with a Minicruise from Plymouth to Santander on board the Brittany Ferries flagship “Pont Aven”. During the crossing you are accompanied by maritime expert Paul Burley. Who will be on hand to comment on the cetaceans and pelagics that make this area of the ocean their home. With climate change this region is now one of the world’s most active areas of wildlife.

In Spain we are met by a Spanish coach that takes us to our hotel.Where we spend  three or four nights with breakfast and dinner with wine included.

Here one of our top Spanish guides (English-speakers) will meet you on arrival and then take over the guiding for the time in Spain.

Areas we visit are carefully chosen, for their specific interest and relevance to the date selected.

Despite the fact that these are tours of ‘special interest’. We do like to point out that at the end of the day they are holidays first and foremost. This aspect is always our guiding principle!
